Purushaha Hero Pavan Kalyan Interview On Family Entertainer

Purushaha Hero Pavan Kalyan Interview On Family Entertainer

Tell us about your background.
Hero Pavan Kalyan:
We are from Karampudi near Macherla in Palnadu. We have no connection with the film industry. My father works in the construction field. I never do anything he dislikes, and he never forces me to do anything I do not like.

What is the story behind your name? Whose idea was it for you to enter the film industry?
Hero Pavan Kalyan: My father watched Gokulamlo Seetha before I was born. I was born around the time Thammudu released, and he named me Pavan Kalyan. It was always my father’s dream to see me become a hero. During my college days, many film-related events used to happen, and I was also very attracted to cinema. Since my father also wanted me to enter this field, I moved toward films.

Did you take formal acting training?
Hero Pavan Kalyan: I trained in acting under Satyanand sir in Vizag. I lived in the same community where he stays and trained with him for four months. Sir only teaches acting and does not give references, but I learned a lot from him.

Why did you choose the story of Purushaha for your debut?
Hero Pavan Kalyan: This project came to us through DOP Satish. Our main intention was to give wholesome entertainment to the audience. That is why I chose a family-oriented subject for my debut film. We made Purushaha in a way that connects with family audiences. People will come out of theatres with the satisfaction of watching a good film.

How was it working with senior artists?
Hero Pavan Kalyan: Purushaha has several senior actors. All of them supported me a lot. Sapthagiri anna and Kasireddy anna especially helped me in every aspect. I was able to complete this film because of the support I received from everyone.

What are the key highlights of Purushaha?
Hero Pavan Kalyan: Every character in Purushaha has equal importance. Audiences enjoyed Kshemanga Velli Labhanga Randi, and I believe our film will also appeal to all sections of viewers in the same way. We took great care with every scene. Through this journey, I understood the effort, dedication and struggles of film artists.

How was your working experience with director Veeru Vulavala?
Hero Pavan Kalyan: Veeru anna supported me tremendously. I used to be very introverted, but he brought me out of my comfort zone and helped me perform better. I was able to do justice to the film only because of his encouragement.

Tell us about the support from your sister Saraswathi during the Purushaha journey.
Hero Pavan Kalyan: My sister Saraswathi is married and has two children. She is very fond of me and always thinks the best for me. She stood by me in every aspect of Purushaha. Without her support, I would not have come this far.

What genres do you personally like?
Hero Pavan Kalyan: My friends keep advising me to do action films. But whatever the genre may be, my main goal is to entertain the audience.

What would you like to tell the audience about Purushaha? What is next for you?
Hero Pavan Kalyan: Everyone who has watched Purushaha so far has appreciated it. They strongly believe the film will succeed. Purushaha is a film that the entire family can enjoy together. After the release of this film, I will think about my next project.
