How does it feel to be recognized as a mass heroine so early in your career, especially after Mark?
Deepshikha Chandran: "I feel extremely grateful for the response I’ve received for Mark. Being called a mass heroine doesn’t feel like pressure; rather, it feels like a blessing. Audiences accepting me in strong roles is a significant success. It motivates me to continue choosing challenging roles that help me grow as an actor."

How was your experience working with Kiccha Sudeep, considering it’s a big opportunity for any actor?
Deepshikha Chandran: "Working with Kiccha Sudeep sir was an honor. It felt like being in a learning school. His discipline, focus, and the respect he shows towards co-artists are truly inspiring. Despite being such a big star, he remains grounded and encouraging, always pushing actors to perform better."

You’re working across Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu industries despite being from Chennai. Was language a challenge for you?
Deepshikha Chandran: "Initially, yes. But language is just a medium, and emotions are universal. I focused on listening, learning, and practicing the languages. The warm reception from the Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada industries made my journey much smoother and more beautiful."

What is the best advice you received from Vijay Antony while working on Mazhavil (Morgan)?
Deepshikha Chandran: "The best advice Vijay Antony sir gave me was, 'Accept things as they are.' He is a calm and composed person, and I learned a lot from his demeanor and attitude."

You shared the screen with senior Tamil actors in a GRC Jewellers commercial. Did that lead to more career opportunities?

You’re actively working on speaking Telugu during promotions. Do you plan to self-dub for your future Telugu projects?
Deepshikha Chandran: "Yes, I am actively working on my Telugu diction. I believe self-dubbing adds more authenticity to a character. My goal is to dub for my future Telugu roles, and I’m practicing diligently to achieve that."

Did acting always interest you, or did it happen by chance?
Deepshikha Chandran: "Acting has always been my passion since childhood. While modeling was a stepping stone, my ultimate goal was always cinema. Passion and hard work are essential to making it in this industry."

What motivates you to take on strong, action-oriented roles instead of glamorous ones?
Deepshikha Chandran: "I’m inspired by strong women, both on and off-screen. Strength doesn’t just mean being rough; it can be powerful and graceful. These kinds of roles excite me as an actor, as they allow me to showcase a deeper emotional range."

Now that you’re in Tollywood, who would you love to work with next?
Deepshikha Chandran: "Tollywood has so many talented actors, and I would love to work with a performance-oriented script. If given the chance, I would love to work with Allu Arjun sir. But for now, I’m waiting for the right stories to come my way."

Any final message for your fans?
