Vadde Naveen Interview: Transfer Trimurthulu Is A Family Entertainer With Thrilling Elements

Vadde Naveen Interview: Transfer Trimurthulu Is A Family Entertainer With Thrilling Elements

What made you choose the story of Transfer Trimurthulu?
Vadde Naveen:
The core idea and story of Transfer Trimurthulu felt very different and unique to me. I liked the story a lot. The film has thrilling elements, but at the same time, it is a movie that the entire family can watch together. My character in the film also feels fresh and different.

Is Transfer Trimurthulu outside your comfort zone?
Vadde Naveen:
The way audiences watch films has changed today. It is no longer enough to make only family dramas or love stories. Audiences are now appreciating films that bring together different elements and fresh content. Transfer Trimurthulu has a new concept, but it still remains a complete family entertainer. That balance is what made the film exciting for me.

Why did you decide to produce your comeback film?
Vadde Naveen:
I had strong faith in this story. I was not sure whether another producer would have the same level of confidence in it. It is not that another producer would have changed the story, but I truly believed in this subject. That is why I decided to produce Transfer Trimurthulu myself.

Does Transfer Trimurthulu have entertainment elements?
Vadde Naveen:
There is a lot of entertainment in the character of Trimurthulu itself. I play a constable, and the character suits that role very well.

The film is not a regular commercial entertainer in the usual sense. I play a constable who fights against problems while working within the system. We worked on the script for nearly a year.

How realistic is Transfer Trimurthulu?
Vadde Naveen:
The film is largely realistic. It is not a full-fledged investigative thriller. We included fights and songs only where they were necessary for the story.

Have you noticed changes in film production compared to the past?
Vadde Naveen:
Production costs have increased a lot, and many aspects of filmmaking have changed. However, we planned everything properly in advance, so we did not face any major issues. The budget went slightly beyond our initial estimate, but the process was smooth. The OTT rights have already been acquired by the Zee team.

Tell us about director Kamal Teja Narla.
Vadde Naveen:
Kamal worked extensively on this story. We spent nearly one year focusing only on the script. His approach to filmmaking and storytelling felt fresh and innovative.

What can you say about Rashi Singh’s role?
Vadde Naveen:
Rashi Singh plays the wife of Trimurthulu in the film. She has delivered an excellent performance. I believe her character will impress everyone.

Are you seeing the love audiences are showing you now?
Vadde Naveen:
For the last twelve years, whenever I appeared in public, Telugu audiences would affectionately tell me, “Please act in movies again, sir.” Now I am seeing the love they are showing towards both me and this film. I will always remain grateful for the affection they have given me.

Which recent films and characters have impressed you?
Vadde Naveen:
I liked Rangasthalam. I especially enjoyed the characters played by Ram Charan and Jagapathi Babu. I also liked Allu Arjun’s character in Pushpa. More recently, I enjoyed Chiranjeevi garu’s role in Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu.

Why did you choose a new director instead of an established filmmaker?
Vadde Naveen:
I could have directly approached a big director, but first I need to understand what my current market value is. Also, a reputed director must be interested in working with me. Once Transfer Trimurthulu releases, I will have a clearer idea of my market position.

What kind of appreciation do you expect after the release?
Vadde Naveen:
I strongly believe audiences will say that I have made a good film. So far, nearly a hundred members of my family have watched the movie, and they were all pleasantly surprised.
Many of them expected me to make a film focused only on promoting myself. But after watching the story and content, they were genuinely shocked in a positive way.

Among today’s heroes, whom do you admire?
Vadde Naveen:
I like the work being done by Nani and Sharwanand. They consistently choose good characters and good films. I enjoyed Court very much. The young actor in Little Hearts also performed really well. I also greatly liked Chiranjeevi garu’s role in Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu.

What kind of projects do you plan to do next?
Vadde Naveen:
At present, I am focusing on solo hero projects and would like to continue doing them. However, if I like a story, I am open to multistarrers as well. If the content is compelling, I would even do a project specifically for an OTT platform.

What can audiences expect from Transfer Trimurthulu?
Vadde Naveen:
The story begins at a measured pace. But once the central conflict starts, the narrative becomes gripping and remains engaging until the climax. The climax, in particular, is something no one will be able to predict.
