Union representatives also requested regular consultations with staff associations during the functioning of the 8th Pay Commission. Officials from multiple ministries and departments attended the meeting alongside employee representatives.

Medical reimbursement and pension-related concerns were among the major agenda items discussed during the meeting. Employee unions demanded full reimbursement of treatment expenses under CGHS and CS(MA) Rules, including revision of hearing aid reimbursement rates.

The meeting also covered demands for additional CGHS wellness centres, increased Fixed Medical Allowance for pensioners, and changes in family pension eligibility rules. Officials said several issues would be examined further by concerned departments.
