Srinivasa Rao Chintalapudi Talks About Bad Boy Kartik in Exclusive Interview

Srinivasa Rao Chintalapudi Talks About Bad Boy Kartik in Exclusive Interview

How was your journey as a producer?
Srinivasa Rao Chintalapudi: I was a partner in the film Shashi with Aadi Sai Kumar. Bad Boy Kartik is our first film as producers, and we are very excited for its release. The movie has turned out really well.

What can the audience expect from Bad Boy Kartik?
Srinivasa Rao Chintalapudi: The movie is an out-and-out action commercial entertainer. Shourya has always been seen in lover boy roles, but in this film, you’ll see him in a completely action-packed role. We’ve worked with top-notch technicians like Supreme Sundar and Prithvi for action choreography. Harish Jayaraj has given an amazing album. The choreography by Shobi Master and Raju Sundaram is fantastic, and we have a strong cast including Samuthirakani, Naresh, Sai Kumar, Vennela Kishore, and Sridevi Vijay Kumar in pivotal roles.

Tell us about Sridevi Vijay Kumar’s role in the film?
Srinivasa Rao Chintalapudi:Sridevi Vijay Kumar’s character will be one of the highlights of the film. Her role will definitely surprise everyone. After this film, she will be very busy.

Can you talk about Zee Studios’ involvement?
Srinivasa Rao Chintalapudi:Zee Studios will be distributing the film worldwide, and they’ve shown a lot of confidence in the project. They’re also handling the OTT release. The film will be released on over 400 screens, making it a grand release.

Do you think Nag Shourya will get a mass action hero image after this movie?
Srinivasa Rao Chintalapudi:I sincerely hope so. His role in this film is outstanding and will surprise everyone. We’ve given the best budget to this movie, and it has a very high production value. We didn’t compromise anywhere in making this film.

Why did you speak emotionally at the pre-release event?
Srinivasa Rao Chintalapudi:People often assume NRI producers do films just for the sake of it, but for me, every challenge is an opportunity to learn. I am passionate about cinema, and I have learned a lot during this production journey. We have three brothers in our family, and we are working together on this project.

With so many movies releasing on the same date, how do you feel?
Srinivasa Rao Chintalapudi:I wish all the films success. Kiran Abbavaram, who is also making his debut as a producer, has wished us well. I also wish his film does well.

What was your reaction when you first heard the story and saw the first cut of the movie?
Srinivasa Rao Chintalapudi:There were some changes during the making of the film. The director changed midway, but we kept the core story intact. The visualizations, especially by Rasool Ellore, are fantastic, and I’m sure the audience will enjoy the film in the theaters. The first 15 minutes of the film, as well as the interval bang, are sure to captivate the audience. There are around five action sequences that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.

How was your experience as a producer for the first time?
Srinivasa Rao Chintalapudi:I’ve learned a lot about the 24 crafts involved in filmmaking. It’s been an incredible learning experience.

What’s next after Bad Boy Kartik?
Srinivasa Rao Chintalapudi:We’re starting another film in June. We also have other projects lined up, and I’m confident these will also resonate well with the audience.

What would you like to tell the audience about Bad Boy Kartik?
Srinivasa Rao Chintalapudi:The film has great visualization and is an out-and-out action commercial entertainer. Nag Shourya’s performance will definitely surprise the audience. There’s also great comedy from Kishore. The film is packed with entertainment and family emotions. We are releasing the film not just in Telugu, but also in Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha. We’re confident that the film will connect with audiences everywhere.

All The Best!
Srinivasa Rao Chintalapudi:Thank You.
