Raashi Khanna Discusses Telusu Kada and Upcoming Projects: Exclusive Interview

Interviewer: Raashi, what excited you most about Telusu Kada?
Raashi Khanna: We’ve all seen love triangle stories before, but Telusu Kada offers something truly unique. There’s a special element in the film that audiences will only experience in theaters, and that’s what excited me the most. There were moments during the shoot that genuinely surprised me. The film gives a fresh perspective on love and boundaries—something I’ve never seen before.

Interviewer: How did you feel when you first heard the story?
Raashi Khanna: I was really moved by the story. Neeraja has beautifully written each character, and there are so many layers to explore. Balancing the dynamics between the three characters was a challenge, but it also made the role exciting. Even though I’ve done many love stories, Telusu Kada feels completely different. It brought out deep emotions in me while performing, and I believe the audience will feel that same connection.

Interviewer: Can you tell us about your character in the film?
Raashi Khanna: I play Anjali, a character who’s completely different from who I am in real life. This contrast made the role even more interesting and fun to perform.

Interviewer:  What was your experience like working with Siddu Jonnalagadda?
Raashi Khanna: Siddu is extremely dedicated to his craft. He has a remarkable understanding of every aspect of filmmaking. Working with him was a wonderful experience—he’s focused, and he really brings out the best in his co-stars.

Interviewer: What was your experience like with director Neeraja Kona?
Raashi Khanna: When Neeraja narrated the story, I was completely blown away by its uniqueness. She has a deep understanding of emotions, relationships, and visual storytelling. It felt like working with a seasoned filmmaker, and her creative clarity is something I truly admire.

Interviewer: Thaman’s music has already become a hit. What’s your take on it?
Raashi Khanna: Thaman has done an amazing job with the music! His passion for music is unparalleled. Songs like Mallika Gandha have already become huge hits, and the entire album perfectly captures the soul of the movie. The music adds so much depth to the film.

Interviewer: How did you find working alongside Srinidhi Shetty on screen?
Raashi Khanna: Working with Srinidhi was great. We have some lovely scenes together, and she’s such a ball of energy. We became good friends during the shoot, and it was a lot of fun working with her.

Interviewer: You’ve worked with People Media Factory before. How was it collaborating with them again?
Raashi Khanna: Yes, I had the pleasure of working with TG Vishwa Prasad garu on Venky Mama, and this is my second project with him. He’s a passionate producer who always ensures the team has everything needed to make the film perfect. It’s always a pleasure working with People Media Factory.

Interviewer: What kinds of roles or stories are you interested in exploring next?
Raashi Khanna: I’ve always been fascinated by mythological stories, and I also enjoy scripts with a horror backdrop. Both genres are challenging and exciting for me as an actor, so I’d love to explore those next.

Interviewer: Can you tell us about your upcoming projects?
Raashi Khanna: I’m currently working on Ustad Bhagat Singh with Pawan Kalyan garu, and it’s been an incredible experience. His aura and following are unmatched, and I’m truly enjoying working with him. I’m also working on four projects in Hindi, which I’m really excited about.

Interviewer: Any final message for your fans?
Raashi Khanna: Telusu Kada is a very special film for me. It’s unlike anything I’ve done before, and I’m sure the audience will love it as much as we enjoyed making it. Please watch it in theaters on October 17—I promise you’ll enjoy every moment of it!
