What is your upcoming film Blast about?
Arjun: Blast is a family action drama with a strong message. The film focuses on the importance of making daughters mentally and physically strong. It shows why girls should be raised with confidence, courage, and the ability to face society without fear.
Why did you personally connect with the story of Blast?
Arjun: As a father, I connected with the story very deeply. I strongly believe daughters should be brought up in a way that makes them brave and confident. They should know how to face challenges and protect themselves when needed.
What do you say about Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan’s work in the film?
Arjun: Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan worked very hard for Blast. They even learned martial arts for their roles. Their dedication and effort helped bring more strength to the film’s action and emotional scenes.
Why did you accept negative roles in films like Kadal, Irumbu Thirai, Leo, and Vidaamuyarchi?
Arjun: I never planned to do negative roles. But when strong scripts came my way, I accepted them. Films like Kadal, Irumbu Thirai, Leo, and Vidaamuyarchi had powerful writing and interesting characters. Still, I now want to return to positive roles.
What gives you more happiness, acting or direction?
Arjun: Direction gives me more happiness than acting. As a director, I can create the complete world of a film. I enjoy shaping the story, characters, emotions, and action from the beginning.
What would you like to say about Vijay becoming Chief Minister?
Arjun: I congratulate Vijay on becoming Chief Minister. It is a huge achievement, and I am very happy for him. His journey is inspiring.
