Revanth Reddy plans road shows for Telangana investment summit

The Telangana government is preparing domestic and international roadshows to attract investors to the Invest Telangana Global Summit, scheduled for December at Bharat Future City.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday directed officials to prepare a coordinated plan covering investor outreach, summit arrangements, publicity and roadshows. The proposed outreach programme will run during October and November, focusing on locations with investment potential in Telangana’s priority sectors. The initiative forms part of the government’s efforts to strengthen the state’s position as an investment destination and advance its long-term economic ambitions.

Roadshow destinations to be identified by October 15

Revanth Reddy asked officials to identify key countries and major Indian cities by October 15 and develop detailed proposals for the roadshows. The selection process will focus on countries with strong investment potential in sectors prioritised by Telangana. The proposals will be submitted to the Cabinet sub-committee for consideration before the government finalises its action plan and begins outreach.

Officials have also been instructed to coordinate preparations so that the roadshows support the summit’s wider objectives and help establish meaningful engagement with prospective investors.

Summit linked to Telangana’s 2047 economic goal

The Chief Minister said the summit should showcase Telangana as a major investment destination and contribute to its ambition of becoming a $3 trillion economy by 2047. According to the report, the December event will be the second global investment summit organised by the Congress government since it assumed office in December 2023.

Revanth Reddy emphasised sustained engagement with investors and systematic tracking of investment commitments. He said the summit should develop into a long-term asset for the state, with continued follow-up helping translate discussions and agreements into progress.

Committees assigned planning and publicity responsibilities

Special committees headed by senior officials have been constituted to oversee different aspects of the summit. Executive councils have also been formed, with the respective ministers serving as chairpersons and senior officials as conveners.

The conveners have been directed to meet the ministers concerned, take charge of their responsibilities and begin preparations. Committees must prepare detailed action plans and budget estimates and secure the necessary approvals at the earliest.

The Chief Minister also called for a comprehensive publicity campaign across print, television, digital and social media. The campaign will promote both the summit and Telangana’s investment opportunities to a global audience. He stressed the importance of attracting international media representatives to expand the event’s visibility.

Previous investment agreements face implementation review

Revanth Reddy directed officials to review the memorandums of understanding signed during the previous summit in December 2025. The assessment is intended to establish the implementation status of those commitments and identify where further engagement with investors is needed. Officials will use the findings to strengthen follow-up and provide greater clarity on the progress of earlier agreements.

With preparations underway, the government is combining fresh investor outreach with a review of existing commitments. The planned roadshows, publicity campaign and implementation assessment will shape Telangana’s approach to the December summit.
