New Details in Tata Consultancy Services Nashik Case Point to Name Change and Overseas Job Lure

The Tata Consultancy Services Nashik case has taken a new turn, with investigators revealing fresh details during court proceedings. According to the prosecution, the scope of the probe has widened beyond Nashik, with emerging links to Malegaon and even Malaysia.

Officials told the court that the accused allegedly attempted to influence a complainant by introducing religious practices and related content. The prosecution claimed the individual was encouraged to adopt a different identity, including a possible name change.

Investigators also indicated that the accused maintained contact with individuals outside Nashik, with alleged plans involving relocation for employment abroad. Authorities are examining whether these developments point to a broader network or coordinated effort.

The prosecution added that key evidence, particularly digital data, is yet to be collected and could shed more light on the case. They stressed the need for a detailed investigation to determine the full extent of involvement.

Meanwhile, the defence has denied all allegations, arguing that no unlawful activity occurred and questioning the legal basis of the charges. The matter remains under judicial consideration, with further hearings expected as the investigation continues.
