Vijay Antony and director Sasi’s Vanda Devullu is set for a June 19 release, with the pre-release event highlighting the film’s emotional mother-son drama and strong performances.
Niharika Konidela Praises Vanda Devullu
The pre-release event of Vanda Devullu was held on a grand note, with mega producer Niharika Konidela and director Thrinadha Rao Nakkina attending as chief guests. The film stars Vijay Antony, Swasika, Ajay Dhishan, Lijomol Jose, Karunas, Shakti and Kavya Anil in key roles. Directed by Sasi, who earlier worked with Vijay Antony on the successful film Bichagadu, Vanda Devullu is scheduled to release in theatres on June 19. The film is presented by Fatima Vijay Antony under Vijay Antony Film Corporation and produced by Ramanjaneyulu Javvaji under Sarvanth Ram Creations.
A Story About The Mother Behind The Goddess
Speaking at the event, Niharika Konidela said that Vanda Devullu beautifully explores the girl within every mother. She said that after marriage and motherhood, a woman may become a mother, but there is still an individual inside her with emotions, memories and dreams. Niharika praised Swasika’s performance and said the film balances emotion, entertainment and a meaningful message. She also appreciated Vijay Antony’s work and said the film has the potential to connect strongly with everyone who values a mother’s presence in life.
Vijay Antony And Sasi Reunite After Bichagadu
Vijay Antony said director Sasi has played an important role in his career. He recalled that Sasi first introduced him as a music director many years ago and later gave him a strong identity as an actor through Bichagadu. Speaking about Vanda Devullu, Vijay Antony said the story deeply moved him and that his role in the film is very different from his previous characters. Director Sasi said Vanda Devullu is a mother-son emotional drama, but it is different from Bichagadu. While Bichagadu showed the mother as a goddess, Vanda Devullu presents a mother as an ordinary human being with her own emotions and struggles.
