Lokesh Kanagaraj has renewed interest in his upcoming film with Allu Arjun after sharing a photograph of the two together and teasing that updates are on the way. The post follows recent speculation that the project, tentatively known as AA23, had hit a setback over its script.

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Post Reignites AA23 Buzz

The director’s latest social media post shows him with Allu Arjun in what appears to be a conversation. Lokesh’s message promising “interesting updates” soon has prompted fans to look for signs that the collaboration is progressing. The post has brought the film back into the spotlight, although it does not reveal what the update will contain or when it will arrive. The project’s story, cast beyond Allu Arjun and other production details remain undisclosed.

Script Reports Had Raised Questions About the Film

In recent days, reports and online discussions claimed that Allu Arjun was unhappy with the script and might withdraw from the project. Those claims led some fans to wonder whether the film had been delayed or shelved. However, the reports were speculation, and no official announcement confirmed that Allu Arjun had exited the film. Earlier comments from the film’s team and writer Rathna Kumar had also indicated that the project remained active, helping counter the cancellation rumours.

Allu Arjun’s Team Had Also Addressed the Speculation

Allu Arjun’s team previously clarified that the collaboration was still on, according to reports. Lokesh’s new photograph has added to that reassurance and given fans another reason to expect progress. Still, the post should be treated as a tease rather than a formal project announcement: it does not confirm a filming schedule, a revised script, or any specific next step. An official update from the filmmakers will be needed to settle those details.

A High-Profile Collaboration Fans Are Waiting For

The pairing has attracted attention because Lokesh is known for action-driven films and intense characters, while Allu Arjun recently headlined the successful Pushpa 2: The Rule. Their collaboration has been described as a pan-Indian project, but the makers have not yet shared its plot, supporting cast or release plans. Until those details are announced, anticipation will centre on the possibility of seeing the actor and director work together.

For now, Lokesh’s post has revived conversation around AA23 and eased some of the uncertainty created by the recent reports. Fans are waiting for the promised update to learn whether it brings concrete information about the story, production or schedule. The collaboration remains a project to watch, but its next confirmed milestone has yet to be announced.
