Raaka achieves a global filmmaking milestone
Indian cinema has reached another global milestone with Raaka setting the Guinness World Record for the “Most People Motion-Captured in Real-Time.” The record was created by simultaneously capturing the movements and performances of 37 people during the film’s production. Allu Arjun and Atlee received the official Guinness World Records certificate on behalf of the team, confirming the scale of the technical achievement. 

Advanced motion capture behind the record
Motion capture records an actor’s movements and converts them into digital data that can be used to create computer-generated characters and complex visual sequences. Executing the process with 37 performers at the same time required extensive coordination between the actors, camera operators, technicians and visual-effects teams. Reports indicate that the record-setting setup involved 92 optical motion-capture cameras, allowing the filmmakers to track multiple performances simultaneously while maintaining the accuracy required for visual-effects work.
