Naidu Alleges Funded Social Media Campaign Against Him, Pawan Kalyan

Tirupati, July 6: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that some social media platforms are being funded to target him and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan through false propaganda against the coalition government.

Speaking to the media during the third day of his Kuppam tour on Sunday, Naidu said the opposition was trying to claim credit for projects being implemented by the present government. He alleged that misleading campaigns were being run despite there being no truth in them.

Naidu Targets Opposition Over False Campaigns

The Chief Minister accused the previous YSRCP government of damaging the State’s investment climate and claimed that industries were driven away during its tenure. He also alleged that the opposition had encouraged abusive language, factionalism, violence and rowdyism in public life.

Naidu said the coalition government was focused on restoring investor confidence and pushing Andhra Pradesh towards large-scale development. He added that the government was taking up infrastructure works across the State with a focus on roads, communication networks, and industrial growth.

Kuppam To Be Developed As Model Constituency

Highlighting development works in Kuppam, Naidu said the constituency was attracting a record number of industrial projects. He said the government aimed to develop every Assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh on the lines of Kuppam.

The Chief Minister said efforts were underway to attract investments in advanced sectors such as quantum computing, semiconductors, renewable energy, and steel manufacturing. He added that the Quantum Computing Centre in Amaravati is expected to begin operations by December.

Focus On Irrigation, Industry And Sustainability

Naidu said the government was working to resolve long-pending land disputes while ensuring that industrial growth is balanced with environmental sustainability. He also assured that the Galeru-Nagari project would be completed after bringing water to Kuppam through the Handri-Neeva canal.

He said major companies, including ArcelorMittal and JSW Steel, were setting up projects in Andhra Pradesh, which would help create jobs and strengthen the State’s industrial base.

Party Posts To Be Based On Performance

During his Kuppam tour, Naidu also held a closed-door meeting with local TDP leaders. He made it clear that party posts would be allotted strictly based on performance and discipline.

The Chief Minister said sincere party workers would not be ignored and directed second-rung leaders to respect grassroots cadre. He added that committed workers should be recognised from the booth level upwards while making appointments in the party organisation.

Modern Poultry Farm Inaugurated

As part of his visit, Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated an environment-controlled poultry farm and inspected a modern poultry shed. He interacted with local leaders and farmers as part of the development-focused tour in Kuppam.
