TDP Mahanadu 2026 Goes Virtual
The Telugu Desam Party’s annual Mahanadu 2026 begins on May 27, in a virtual format from the party’s central office in Mangalagiri. The event, earlier planned as a three-day physical conclave in Nellore, has been shortened to two days on May 27 and 28. The party said the decision was taken following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal for fuel conservation amid the ongoing West Asia conflict.
Party leaders, elected representatives, and cadres will take part from more than 1,800 cluster locations across Andhra Pradesh through video links and LED screen arrangements. By connecting these digital clusters, the TDP Mahanadu 2026 virtual format is expected to strengthen cluster-level participation across the state. Chief Minister and TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu will hoist the party flag, pay tributes to founder N T Rama Rao, and honour workers who sacrificed their lives for the party.

Stree Shakti Theme And Political Roadmap
This year’s Mahanadu is being held under the “Stree Shakti” theme, with a focus on women's welfare, development initiatives, employment, investments, and state growth. The party is expected to move 20 resolutions covering Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, common issues, and political matters.

The conclave also gains importance as the first Mahanadu after Nara Lokesh’s elevation as TDP working president. On the second day, audio-visual presentations will highlight Telugu identity, farmers’ issues, Central support to Andhra Pradesh, and the party’s future action plan. Naidu’s concluding address is expected to set the TDP political roadmap for the coming elections.
