Actor Ram Charan has undergone a planned follow-up procedure for his wrist injury at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore, where his cast and wrist rods were successfully removed. He will now continue rehabilitation and physiotherapy before returning to film shoots.
Ram Charan Undergoes Follow-Up Wrist Procedure
Ram Charan has completed an important stage in his recovery from a wrist injury after undergoing a scheduled follow-up procedure at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore. During the procedure, doctors successfully removed the cast and rods that had been placed in his wrist as part of the earlier treatment. The procedure was carried out by Dr. Praveen under the supervision of Dr. Rajasekaran and Dr. Sabhapathi. The actor remains under medical supervision as he moves into the next phase of his recovery.
Injury Aggravated During Peddi Shooting
The actor had aggravated his wrist injury while filming his upcoming movie Peddi, following which he underwent surgery in Coimbatore earlier this year. Doctors had advised him to take adequate rest after the operation before beginning a structured rehabilitation programme. With the latest follow-up procedure completed successfully, Ram Charan is now expected to focus on gradually restoring movement, strength and stability in his wrist under the guidance of medical specialists.
8–10 Weeks of Physiotherapy Planned
According to the report, Ram Charan is expected to undergo around eight to ten weeks of intensive physiotherapy and rehabilitation following the removal of the cast and rods. His return to shooting will depend on how well his wrist responds to treatment and on medical clearance from his doctors. He is currently expected to resume work after mid-November, giving him sufficient time to recover before returning to physically demanding film schedules. The timeline could ultimately depend on his rehabilitation progress and doctors’ assessment.
Peddi and RC17 Await Ram Charan’s Return
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is a sports action drama featuring Ram Charan alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu and other actors. Production plans are expected to proceed in accordance with the actor’s recovery. Ram Charan also has another major project lined up with director Sukumar, tentatively referred to as RC17. Work on that film is expected to move forward after he has recovered sufficiently from the wrist injury. For now, the actor’s priority remains completing rehabilitation and receiving medical clearance before resuming his professional commitments.
