CJP Returns On X After Original Handle Is Withheld In India
CJP Returns With New X Account
The Cockroach Janta Party returned to X with a new account just hours after its original handle was withheld in India. The move quickly went viral as the satire-led group posted messages mocking critics and linked the block to its fast-growing popularity online.
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke also reacted to the development and said the action was expected. The controversy came soon after the group crossed 10 million followers on Instagram, overtaking the BJP’s official Instagram follower count. This made the Cockroach Janta Party one of the most discussed youth-driven political satire movements on social media.
Youth Satire Turns Into Digital Protest
The Cockroach Janta Party describes itself as a political front of the youth, by the youth, and for the youth. Its slogan, “Secular, Socialist, Democratic, Lazy,” has gained attention among young users discussing unemployment, exam paper leaks, political accountability, and institutional reforms.
The movement mixes memes with serious political demands, including women’s representation, Election Commission accountability, and employment rights. It is still unclear whether CJP will become a formal political platform or remain an internet protest movement, but its sudden rise has placed it firmly in India’s online political conversation.
