Naidu Accuses YSRCP Of Targeting Pawan Kalyan Through False Propaganda
Kurnool: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has accused the opposition YSR Congress Party of deliberately targeting Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan through false propaganda and political conspiracies.
Speaking at a public meeting at Jonnagiri in Kurnool district on Wednesday, Naidu launched a strong political attack on YSRCP, alleging that the party was spreading misinformation, creating confusion among people, and trying to provoke social divisions for political gains.
The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering after launching gold production at the Jonnagiri Gold Mining Project.
Naidu Targets YSRCP At Jonnagiri Meeting
During his speech, Naidu described YSRCP as a “fake party” and accused it of following destructive politics. He alleged that the opposition was not focusing on people’s issues but was instead trying to mislead the public through false campaigns.
Naidu claimed that YSRCP was deliberately targeting Pawan Kalyan because of the coalition government’s growing political strength in Andhra Pradesh.
Allegation Over Targeting Pawan Kalyan
The Chief Minister alleged that YSRCP leaders were carrying out a planned campaign against Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. He said the opposition was using false narratives and political conspiracies to weaken the image of the coalition government.
According to Naidu, such campaigns were aimed at creating confusion among people and disturbing political stability in the State.
Sai Krishna Disappearance Row Mentioned
Referring to the recent Vijayawada incident involving rowdy sheeter Sai Krishna’s disappearance, Naidu accused opposition leaders of trying to give a caste angle to sensitive incidents.
He alleged that YSRCP was attempting to provoke communities by linking every issue to caste and using such matters for political advantage.
“They are trying to give a caste colour to every incident and provoke communities. Creating confusion and deceiving people has become their political culture,” Naidu said.
CM Says Opposition Is Spreading Misinformation
Naidu further alleged that the opposition had mastered the art of spreading falsehoods. He said YSRCP was trying to mislead the public by creating doubts over government programmes and decisions.
The Chief Minister said his government would not be distracted by such campaigns and would continue to focus on development, welfare, and governance.
Naidu Defends DSC Recruitment Process
Highlighting his government’s record on employment, Naidu said the previous YSRCP government had failed to fill teacher posts during its tenure.
He defended the ongoing DSC recruitment process and accused the opposition of spreading baseless allegations about question paper leaks and vacancies.
Naidu claimed that when opposition leaders were challenged to take part in a public debate on the issue, they backed away.
CPS Employees Shifted To OPS
The Chief Minister also spoke about his government’s decision to shift 10,800 employees from the Contributory Pension Scheme to the Old Pension Scheme.
Naidu said the coalition government had decided not to make such a promise before the elections. He said the move would provide long-term benefits to employees and improve their financial security.
Law And Order Concerns Raised
Turning to law and order, Naidu alleged that the opposition was extending support to anti-social elements involved in ganja and criminal activities.
He claimed that some youth were being misled and exploited for political purposes. The Chief Minister said his government would act firmly against criminal activities and those trying to disturb peace in Andhra Pradesh.
Focus On Rayalaseema Development
Naidu also accused the previous government of neglecting Rayalaseema’s irrigation needs and failing to complete important project works.
He said the coalition government was now focused on attracting industries, generating revenue, and ensuring balanced development across the State.
According to Naidu, Rayalaseema would be given priority in irrigation, industrial growth, and employment generation.
Government Says Development Is Priority
The Chief Minister said his government aimed to bring investments, create jobs, and strengthen the State’s economy. He added that the coalition government would continue to work for all regions of Andhra Pradesh without discrimination.
The YSRCP’s response to Naidu’s allegations was not immediately available.
