Khan Sir Slams NTA Over NEET-UG 2026 Cancellation And Paper Leak Row
Popular educator Khan Sir strongly criticised the National Testing Agency (NTA) following the cancellation of the NEET-UG 2026 examination over alleged paper leak and irregularity concerns. His remarks came amid growing anger and uncertainty among lakhs of medical aspirants across the country.
The NEET-UG 2026 examination was conducted on May 3 across India and abroad for more than 22 lakh students seeking admission to undergraduate medical courses. However, the examination was later cancelled after allegations of paper leaks and irregularities surfaced in multiple states. The Centre subsequently ordered a CBI investigation, while agencies including Rajasthan’s Special Operations Group (SOG) also launched separate probes into the controversy.
Reacting to the issue, Khan Sir questioned the credibility of the NTA and accused the agency of repeatedly failing students. He stated that recurring examination controversies were creating stress, uncertainty, and emotional pressure among aspirants who spend years preparing for highly competitive entrance exams. He also demanded strict action against those responsible for the alleged leak and called for stronger monitoring of the ongoing investigation.
The educator further highlighted the emotional and financial burden faced by students and families due to repeated exam disruptions. According to him, many students from economically weaker backgrounds travel long distances, spend heavily on coaching and preparation, and face immense pressure while competing for limited medical seats. He said the cancellation has left several aspirants mentally exhausted after months of hard work and preparation.
Khan Sir also referred to previous NEET controversies and claimed that re-examinations often become more difficult after paper leak incidents emerge. He stressed the need for transparency, accountability, and stronger security measures within the examination system to rebuild trust among students and parents.
The NTA has stated that revised dates for the re-examination will be announced soon and clarified that candidates will not need to register again or pay any additional fee. Existing registration details and exam centre preferences are expected to remain valid for the fresh examination schedule.
