NEET-UG 2026 Re-Exam To Be Held On June 21 After Paper Leak Row
NEET-UG 2026 Retest Date Confirmed
The National Testing Agency has announced the NEET-UG 2026 retest date after the earlier medical entrance exam faced cancellation following paper leak concerns. As per the latest NTA NEET update, the re-examination is scheduled to be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026, with the approval of the Government of India.
The NEET-UG 2026 admit cards are expected to be released on June 14 for candidates appearing in the retest. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said the government understands the concerns of students and wants to ensure a fair opportunity for medical aspirants.
NTA Plans Tighter Exam Security
The NEET paper leak retest is expected to be conducted with stricter monitoring and enhanced security arrangements. Exam centre surveillance, digital checks, and handling of confidential question papers may receive closer attention during the re-examination process.
The NTA has advised candidates and parents to follow only official updates and avoid rumours on social media. Students can contact NTA helpline numbers 011-40759000 and 011-69227700 for exam-related queries.
The retest gives medical aspirants another chance to compete for MBBS, BDS, and allied medical course admissions across India. Candidates should regularly check the official NTA and NEET websites for the latest instructions, admit card details, and exam-day guidelines.
