Plot: ⭐️⭐️½☆☆ (2.5/5)
Chittibabu (Venkatesh) wins a lottery and moves his family into a villa. A crime soon turns his dream life upside down, leaving the family to face trouble as a cop (Nara Rohith) enters the story.
Overview:
Trivikram Srinivas combines family comedy and crime in his first film with Venkatesh. The familiar plot is watchable thanks to Venkatesh and a few entertaining stretches, though it offers few surprises.
Performances:
Venkatesh brings strong comic timing and warmth to emotional scenes. Srinidhi Shetty makes good use of her role, while Nara Rohith adds interest. Satya gets laughs; Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, Raghu Babu and Nivetha Pethuraj are adequate.
Technical Aspects:
Ravi K. Chandran’s cinematography looks polished, and the production values are solid. Trivikram’s dialogues and fights stand out.
Music:
Thaman’s songs are forgettable, but the background score lifts the crime scenes.
Editing:
Navin Nooli’s editing keeps the film moving at a decent pace.
Positives
- Venkatesh’s comic timing and emotional performance
- A few entertaining comedy sequences
- Strong supporting cast
- Effective background score
- Polished cinematography
Negatives
- Predictable storyline
- Routine twists and revelations
- Uneven humour
- Limited emotional depth
- Weaker second half
Analysis:
The first half builds to an effective interval and moves at a decent pace. The second half has a few funny situations, but familiar revelations and convenient turns weaken the drama. Venkatesh’s charm makes the film a light, reasonably watchable entertainer.
Bottomline: Time Pass
Rating: ⭐️⭐️½☆☆ (2.5/5)
