The story follows how the group tries to fix their problems and save their relationships.
Overview:
Purushaha is a small Telugu family comedy entertainer that depends mainly on humor, marriage misunderstandings and light emotional moments. The film does not aim for heavy drama but offers a simple weekend watch for audiences looking for easy laughs.
Performances:
Pavan Kalyan Bathula gives a neat and controlled performance without going overboard. Vaishnavi Kokkura looks impressive and handles her role with cute expressions. Rajkumar Kasireddy and Saptagiri are the main highlights, delivering good comedy timing and funny one-liners. Vennela Kishore, VTV Ganesh and Pammi Sai add support, though some roles could have been better developed.
Technical Aspects:
Director Veeru Vulavala follows a familiar family-comedy format with relationship conflicts and humorous situations. The comedy portions work better than the emotional scenes. Cinematography by Satish Muthyala is good, and the production values are decent for a small film. A few VFX shots feel unnecessary.
Music:
Shravan Bharadwaj’s songs are passable, while the background score supports the comedy and emotional portions without becoming too loud.
Editing:
Koti’s editing keeps the runtime manageable, which helps the film stay light. However, a few character tracks feel rushed and underdeveloped.
Positives:
- Comedy by Rajkumar Kasireddy and Saptagiri
- Light family entertainment
- Decent climax emotional connection
- Good runtime
- Simple weekend-watch feel
Negatives:
- Some characters are underused
- Songs are only average
- A few comedy portions feel familiar
- Unnecessary VFX shots
- Emotional depth could have been stronger
Analysis:
Purushaha works best when it focuses on comedy and family misunderstandings. The film has a familiar setup, but the presence of Rajkumar Kasireddy, Saptagiri and other comedy actors keeps it watchable. The emotional angle in the climax adds some value, though the writing does not fully explore all characters. For viewers expecting a simple family entertainer without heavy expectations, the film offers a decent experience.
Bottomline: Light Entertainer
Rating: 3/5
