Nayanthara has joined Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Dharman, with a new poster showing the two stars together. Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and produced by Kamal Haasan and R. Nayanthara Joins Rajinikanth in Dharman
The makers of Dharman have announced Nayanthara’s entry into the film and unveiled a new poster. Her pairing with Rajinikanth has renewed interest in the project, which is presented by Raj Kamal Films International (RKFI). Kamal Haasan and R. Mahendran are producing the film, while Ashwath Marimuthu is directing it. The project is being made as a pan-India entertainer. The makers have not announced a release date in the information shared so far.
Poster Reveals a Dramatic Meeting
The newly released poster places Rajinikanth and Nayanthara facing one another in front of a large window. Golden light streams through the window, leaving the two actors in silhouette and giving the image a dramatic tone. The poster does not reveal details about their characters or the story, but it offers a first glimpse of their on-screen pairing in the film.
Rajinikanth and Nayanthara Reunite for the Fifth Time
Dharman marks the fifth film featuring Rajinikanth and Nayanthara together. Their earlier collaborations include Chandramukhi, Kuselan (released in Telugu as Kathanaayakudu), Darbar and Annaatthe (released in Telugu as Peddanna). Their reunion brings back a pairing audiences have seen across different genres, while the new film keeps their roles under wraps.
Anirudh Leads the Music Team
Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, with Niketh Bommi handling cinematography and Pradeep E. Raghav editing. Action choreography is by Anbariv, the stunt duo known for designing large-scale sequences. Rajinikanth’s first look introduced him as a mysterious doctor holding a blood-stained scalpel, accompanied by the phrase “The Deadly Doctor.” Nayanthara’s casting announcement adds another key reveal as the filmmakers build curiosity around the film’s characters and story.
