Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas stars as a sceptical police officer in Haindava, a divine mystery thriller set in a temple village. Its teaser introduces a prophecy linked to Lord Vishnu’s avatars and a looming disaster, setting up a mystery that may test the officer’s beliefs.
A prophecy at the heart of the story
The makers have unveiled the teaser for Haindava, offering a first look at a story built around faith, prophecy and an impending threat. Set in a temple village, the film centres on a prediction that Lord Vishnu’s avatars will appear to prevent a major disaster. The teaser uses this premise to create an atmosphere of mystery, leaving viewers to wonder what the prophecy means and whether its warning will come true.
A sceptical officer faces the mystery
Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas plays a police officer who questions religious beliefs and does not believe in God. His outlook puts him at odds with a story shaped by a divine prediction. As the teaser unfolds, it raises a central question: how will a man guided by scepticism respond to events that appear to be connected to faith? The film’s mystery rests on whether the prophecy will be fulfilled and what role the officer may have as the village faces the predicted danger.
Visuals and cast add to the intrigue
One of the teaser’s striking moments shows Lord Vishnu appearing on the temple’s Raja Gopuram. The image gives the film a grand visual scale and hints at the devotional elements within its thriller premise. Mahesh Manjrekar and JD Chakravarthy also make an impression in the teaser, while Samyuktha plays the female lead. Together, the glimpses of the cast and the temple setting introduce a story that combines a police investigation with questions surrounding belief and prophecy.
Team and release date
Directed by Ludheer Byreddy, Haindava is produced by Mahesh Chandu. Sam CS has composed the background score, which supports the teaser’s mysterious tone. With its temple-village backdrop, its prophecy about Lord Vishnu’s avatars and a lead character who begins as a non-believer, the film sets up a clash between scepticism and the possibility of divine intervention. Haindava is scheduled to release worldwide on November 27.
