Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much-awaited film with director Bobby Kolli has been titled Kaaka. Produced by Venkat K Narayana under KVN Productions, the action entertainer introduces Chiranjeevi in two contrasting looks and is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on January 13, 2027.

Kaaka Title Glimpse Introduces a Stylish New World

The title glimpse of #Mega158, also referred to as #ChiruBobby2, opens with Chiranjeevi as K Satyam, a supervisor working in the aqua industry. Presented as a grounded middle-aged man wearing glasses, he is seen managing work responsibilities and interacting casually with colleagues played by Sunil and Getup Srinu. A seemingly comic moment involving lost scooter keys unexpectedly leads to the discovery of guns, setting up the film’s action-driven tone. The glimpse then reveals the title Kaaka before shifting into a flashback featuring a younger and far more stylish version of Chiranjeevi in an intense gun-firing sequence.

Bobby Kolli Presents Chiranjeevi in Two Distinct Looks

Director Bobby Kolli appears to be building the film around two contrasting shades of Chiranjeevi’s character. The middle-class avatar brings simplicity and humour, while the younger version delivers attitude, energy and vintage Megastar swagger. This contrast is one of the strongest elements of the glimpse, suggesting a characterisation that combines grounded emotion with mass action. Chiranjeevi’s body language, screen presence and effortless style dominate the action portions, while the final gun-heavy visuals are designed as a major fan moment.

Thaman’s Music and Technical Team Elevate the Glimpse

Cinematographer Vijay Karthik Kannan gives the glimpse an energetic visual style, beginning with immersive tracking shots before moving into larger, high-impact action frames. S Thaman’s background score adds considerable intensity, while the remix of the iconic “Gang Gang” track from Gang Leader introduces a strong nostalgic element. The film also brings together production designer Avinash Kolla, editor Antony L Ruben and writers Kona Venkat, K Chakravarthy Reddy, Hari Mohana Krishna and Vineeth Potluri, with dialogues by Bhanu-Nandu. Anaswara Rajan is part of the cast in an important role.

KVN Productions Sets Grand Sankranthi 2027 Release

Produced by Venkat K Narayana under KVN Productions, Kaaka is being mounted as a large-scale commercial entertainer aimed at both Chiranjeevi fans and wider audiences. The title glimpse successfully establishes the film’s world, tone and dual-character presentation while raising expectations for the complete story. With Bobby Kolli once again working with Chiranjeevi after proving his strength in mass-oriented storytelling, the project has already emerged as one of the major Telugu releases lined up for the festive season. Kaaka will hit theatres worldwide on January 13, 2027, during Sankranthi.
