Vishal’s upcoming action drama Makutam is set for a grand theatrical release on August 14, 2026. The makers have also announced that the film’s official trailer will be unveiled on August 7, intensifying promotions ahead of its Independence Day weekend release.
The film is the 99th production from the prestigious Super Good Films banner founded by late producer R.B. Choudary. Makutam holds special significance for Vishal as it marks his debut as a director while also featuring him in the lead role. Anjali and Dushara Vijayan play the female leads.
