RS Infotainment, headed by Elred Kumar, has officially wrapped up the shooting of its upcoming sports action drama MANDAADI. The film was shot over a long and demanding schedule, with a significant portion filmed in the coastal regions of Ramanathapuram. Despite challenging conditions, the team worked extensively to capture intense action, emotional moments, and visually rich sailboat race sequences, aiming to deliver an authentic cinematic experience.

Directed by Mathimaran Pugazhendhi, the film is set against a unique sports backdrop rooted in coastal life. Soori plays the lead role and has undergone significant physical preparation, making his performance a key highlight. The film also introduces Suhas to Tamil cinema in a negative-shaded role, for which he dedicated nearly 100 days of work and underwent a complete transformation. Mahima Nambiar appears as the female lead, while seasoned actors Sathyaraj, Ravindra Vijay, Mithun, and Bala Saravanan play important supporting roles.

The film is backed by a strong technical team, with music composed by G V Prakash Kumar, cinematography by SR Kathir, production design by DRK Kiran, and editing by Pradeep E Ragav. Action sequences are choreographed by Peter Hein, Dilip Subbarayan, and Mahesh Mathew. Currently, the team is focused on post-production work, including editing, sound design, VFX, and music, ensuring a high-quality output. Set in the world of coastal fishing communities, the title ‘MANDAADI’ represents a skilled leader who guides fishing expeditions using deep knowledge of the sea, forming the emotional core of the story. With strong buzz already created by its first look, the film is steadily building anticipation, with more updates expected soon.
