Apollo Hospitals has launched a state-of-the-art Center of Excellence for Sports Injuries and Orthopedics at its Financial District facility in Hyderabad to provide advanced treatment and rehabilitation services for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
Apollo Hospitals has inaugurated the “Apollo Center of Excellence for Sports Injuries and Orthopedics” at its Financial District campus in Hyderabad. The newly launched facility aims to offer world-class diagnosis, surgery, and rehabilitation services under one roof for sports injuries and orthopedic conditions. The center has been specially designed to cater to athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and individuals requiring advanced orthopedic care with cutting-edge medical technology and rehabilitation support.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by KEI Group founder Anil Kamineni and Telangana Sports Department Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan. Players from Sunrisers Hyderabad also visited the facility during the launch event. Australian cricket captain Pat Cummins, along with Prafull Hinge and Saqib Hussain, reviewed the advanced treatment and rehabilitation facilities available at the center. They appreciated the modern infrastructure and said such specialized healthcare support would greatly benefit athletes recovering from injuries.
Head of Orthopedics Dr. Deepthi Nandan Reddy stated that timely diagnosis and precise treatment are crucial in managing sports injuries, ranging from ligament damage to complex joint conditions. Apollo Hospitals Telugu States CEO Tejaswi Rao Veerepalli highlighted that the new center marks a major milestone in delivering global-standard sports medicine services in the region. Financial District Apollo Hospitals COO Harkaran Singh added that the center brings together multidisciplinary experts to ensure faster recovery and better outcomes for patients. Specialists including Dr. Raviteja Rudraraju and Dr. Raminder Kaur will also provide expert services at the facility.
