Debut hero Tejesh Rajan’s “Amaram” has created buzz with its intense action-packed teaser featuring red sandalwood smuggling, emotional drama, and large-scale action sequences set against the Eastern Ghats backdrop.
Tejesh Rajan is making his debut as a lead actor with the action drama “Amaram,” directed by Thiru Arul Krishnan. The makers recently unveiled the film’s intense teaser, which has impressed audiences with its gripping action visuals and emotional storytelling. The story revolves around the journey of a tribal smuggler, a killer, and a young woman, while also exploring the harsh realities, struggles, and dangers faced by red sandalwood smugglers. Set against the scenic yet rugged backdrop of the Eastern Ghats, the movie also highlights several social issues connected to the region and its people. Important sequences were additionally shot across the Western Ghats, while massive sets were constructed near Kadapa for the film.
One of the biggest highlights of “Amaram” is its large-scale action choreography. The film features three massive action blocks designed under the supervision of action master Miracle Michael with support from a martial arts team from Mumbai. A special action sequence involving more than 200 fighters is expected to become a major attraction of the movie. The teaser also hints at a deep emotional love story blended with situational action and suspense. Tejesh Rajan has reportedly performed several challenging stunts for his debut film, including a crucial single-take sequence shot at the famous Dolphin’s Nose tourist location in Kodaikanal, which has already become a talking point among the team.
The movie stars Aira Agarwal as the female lead, while Nagineedu, Sai Dheena, George Marian, Suresh Chandra Menon, and Harish Peradi play key roles. Director Thiru Arul Krishnan previously worked as an associate under actor-director Raghava Lawrence. The film’s music is composed by Mickey J. Meyer, while acclaimed editor Ramar, known for films like “Vada Chennai” and “Asuran,” handles the editing. Cinematographer Bharat is providing the visuals, and noted choreographer Boopathy Master has composed dance sequences for five songs in the film. A grand folk song shot on a specially designed set in Kodaikanal with 60 dancers from Kerala is also expected to become one of the movie’s major highlights. Combining intense action, emotional storytelling, romance, and social commentary, “Amaram” promises a gripping cinematic experience.
