How did you begin your journey as a producer?
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy: I have produced films like Ippudu Kaakunte Inkeppudu, Yashoda, and others in Tamil and Telugu. I always prefer backing different and meaningful stories.

How did you come on board for Rao Bahadur?
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy: The story was first narrated to Namrata garu, and she really liked it. Later, director Venkatesh Maha narrated it to me, and I immediately connected with the story.

What made you believe in this project?
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy: The story is very unique and different from regular films. It felt fresh and suited today’s audience taste for new content.

Is the budget of the film very high?
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy: Yes, it is a high-budget film. But we believed strongly in the content and the vision of the director.

Why did you choose Satyadev for the lead role?
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy: Satyadev was always our first choice. He perfectly fits the character of Rao Bahadur.

How challenging was Satyadev’s role?
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy: He had to undergo a very intense process, including nearly five hours of makeup daily. The role demanded complete dedication.

How long did the shoot take?
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy: The film was shot for more than 90 days with detailed planning and execution.

Where was the film shot?
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy: We shot in real locations, including a fort in Odisha. It was used for the first time for a film shoot.

Were any sets specially created?
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy: Yes, we modified the fort and designed everything carefully according to the story requirements. Even costumes were designed to feel authentic.

How would you describe director Venkatesh Maha’s vision?
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy: He has a very strong and unique vision. He carefully designed every character and scene with great detail.

Did Mahesh Babu watch the film? What was his reaction?
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy: Yes, Mahesh Babu garu watched the film and was very surprised. He appreciated the output and said it is something never seen before.

What did Mahesh Babu’s involvement bring to the film?
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy: His presence as presenter gave the film a strong identity and positive boost among audiences.

Is this film similar to any other movie?
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy: No, this is a completely new experience. It has not been made in this style before.

How was the pre-release business?
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy: OTT and overseas rights were already completed before release, showing strong confidence in the film.

What are your future plans?
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy: We are planning new films for Vinayaka Chavithi and Dussehra. They will be completely different from each other.

What is your final statement about the film?
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy: Rao Bahadur is a theatrical experience that will surprise audiences. It is designed for the big screen and will give a never-before-seen cinematic feeling.
