Hyderabad Lufthansa Flight Threat Triggers Alert
A Hyderabad Lufthansa flight threat created a major security alert at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport after Lufthansa flight LH754 received a bomb alert before landing. The Frankfurt Hyderabad flight was scheduled to arrive at Shamshabad when the airline reportedly received an email claiming that a bomb had been placed on the aircraft.
Following the Lufthansa LH754 bomb alert, airport officials immediately informed security agencies and activated emergency safety protocols. The flight landed safely in Hyderabad and was moved to an isolation bay for a detailed inspection.
Shamshabad Airport Security Checks Begin
Bomb disposal teams and airport security personnel started a full check of the aircraft after the Hyderabad airport update. Officials said no immediate threat was confirmed during the first round of inspection, but further verification was carried out as part of standard safety rules. The Shamshabad airport security alert was handled with precaution to ensure passenger safety and smooth airport operations.
Weather Causes Flight Diversions
In a separate development, two incoming flights to Shamshabad Airport were diverted due to strong winds. A Pune-Hyderabad flight was sent to Vijayawada, while a Dubai-Hyderabad Emirates flight was diverted to Bengaluru. Both flights reportedly attempted to land twice before being redirected.
