Ranji Trophy: Hyderabad And Punjab Share A Draw

Hyderabad and Punjab played out a draw in their Ranji Trophy Group B encounter at Gymkhana Ground on Thursday. Punjab finished with the first-innings advantage after scoring 431 and dismissing Hyderabad for 380, establishing a 51-run lead.

Prabhsimran Singh led Punjab’s second-innings batting with 68, following his first-innings contribution of 81. Opener Vihaan Malhotra added 53, while captain Uday Saharan remained unbeaten on 55 as Punjab declared at 240/6. The result brought the teams’ third group match to a close, with Punjab retaining the advantage earned through their first-innings performance.

Ranji Trophy: Pramanik Powers Bengal Past Kerala

Pradipta Pramanik claimed his maiden 10-wicket match haul as Bengal defeated Kerala by 287 runs in their Group C fixture at Mangalapuram. The victory was Bengal’s third consecutive win of the season.

Chasing 408, Kerala resumed at 53/4 but were dismissed for 120 in 38.4 overs. Pramanik took 6/51 in the second innings to add to his first-innings figures of 4/44, finishing with a match return of 10/95 in his 19th first-class appearance.

Shahbaz Ahmed contributed with an all-round performance, while Mohammed Shami dismissed Aditya Sarwate and Vaisakh Chandran as Kerala slipped to 70/8. MD Nidheesh’s 33 and Mohammed Azharuddeen’s 26 could not prevent a heavy defeat.

Ranji Trophy: Kotian Stars In Mumbai Victory

Tanush Kotian delivered career-best figures of 8/81 as Mumbai beat Haryana by 10 wickets in their Elite Group D match. Mumbai collected seven points, securing their third successive bonus-point victory.

Set a target of 97, Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Divyaansh Saxena completed the chase without losing a wicket in just 10.4 overs. Raghuvanshi finished unbeaten on 67, while Saxena remained not out on 30. Mumbai had already registered bonus-point victories over Chandigarh at home and Himachal Pradesh away, extending their strong start to the campaign.

Ranji Trophy: Rain Forces Delhi–Jharkhand Draw

Delhi and Jharkhand settled for a draw in Ranchi after rain prevented play on both the third and fourth days. Each team received one point, with Delhi having declared at 515/5 and Jharkhand reaching 131/4. Delhi captain Ayush Badoni’s second successive double century was the standout individual contribution in the interrupted contest.

Gujarat and Maharashtra also drew their match in Pune. Gujarat declared their second innings at 446/5, powered by Aarya Desai’s 151, Jaymeet Patel’s unbeaten 119 and Urvil Patel’s 96. Maharashtra finished at 141/4, with Digvijay Patil unbeaten on 55.
