Indian Railways is set to enhance connectivity in Andhra Pradesh with the introduction of a new weekly express train between Narsapur and Tirupati, starting on Sunday, April 27, 2026.
The service will operate once a week in both directions, offering a direct and convenient travel option for passengers. The train will depart from Narsapur every Sunday, while the return journey from Tirupati will run every Monday, making it particularly suitable for weekend travellers and pilgrims.
This initiative is expected to reduce travel time and eliminate the need for multiple train changes on this busy route. It will benefit both regular commuters and devotees visiting Tirupati Balaji Temple, one of India’s most popular pilgrimage destinations.
With growing demand for seamless connectivity, the launch of this weekly express service marks a significant step toward improving rail travel in the region. It offers passengers a more comfortable and efficient journey between coastal Andhra and the Rayalaseema region.
