The National Testing Agency has responded to viral rumours surrounding alleged paper leak claims linked to NEET UG 2026, amid growing confusion among students and parents on social media. Messages circulating on platforms including WhatsApp claimed that the medical entrance examination could be cancelled due to an alleged leak, triggering concern among lakhs of aspirants across the country.

According to reports circulating online, handwritten “guess papers” and screenshots allegedly matching parts of the question paper were widely shared before and after the examination. The claims quickly gained traction on social media, with several users demanding clarification from authorities regarding the authenticity of the leaked material and the future of the examination process.
