CM Vijay’s Veshti Look Goes Viral

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay became the centre of attention after he attended his manager Jagadish Palanisamy’s housewarming ceremony in Chennai wearing a traditional silk veshti and shirt. The look quickly drew interest because Vijay has mostly appeared in a black blazer, white shirt, and black trousers since taking the oath as Chief Minister on May 10.

Veshti Look Creates Online Buzz

Videos from the housewarming ceremony showed Vijay entering Jagadish’s new home amid loud cheers and applause. A family member welcomed him warmly and expressed happiness over his visit before greeting him with a hug. Actor Kathir, who shares a close bond with Jagadish, was also seen at the event.

Before the ceremony, Vijay was also spotted at the Secretariat in the same traditional attire. His shift from a formal blazer look to a silk veshti-shirt became the main talking point among fans and political followers.

Vijay And Jagadish’s Bond

Jagadish Palanisamy has been associated with Vijay for more than a decade. He earlier handled Vijay’s film assignments and later became a co-producer with Master. He has also worked on Leo, Maharaja, and Revolver Rita, besides running the talent management company Route.

Jagadish continues to be one of Vijay’s trusted aides and recently accompanied him during his Delhi visit, where the Chief Minister met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Meanwhile, Vijay’s final film, Jana Nayagan, is still awaiting CBFC clearance, with reports suggesting a possible June 19, 2026, release.
