Chiranjeevi is reportedly preparing to host MEGAVerse, a celebrity talk show being developed for Netflix. Reports say filming is expected to begin in Hyderabad on October 27, with Brahmanandam, Sunil and Satya among the possible guests. The title, guest list, episode count and release date have not been officially confirmed.
MEGAVerse Shoot Reportedly Planned in Hyderabad
Chiranjeevi may soon take on a new role as a talk-show host, with reports linking him to a Netflix project tentatively titled MEGAVerse. The show is reportedly expected to begin filming at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on October 27, 2026. Brahmanandam, Sunil and Satya are among the names linked to the programme, while reports suggest the first season could include around 15 episodes.
These details remain unconfirmed. Netflix has not publicly announced the show, confirmed its title or shared a premiere date, episode count or complete guest lineup. Until the platform or production team makes an announcement, the reported schedule and guest appearances should be treated as provisional. Telugu cinema reports have described MEGAVerse as a celebrity talk show, but its final format has not been officially detailed.
If confirmed, the project would mark Chiranjeevi’s entry into OTT talk-show hosting. It would not, however, be his first time presenting a programme. In 2017, he hosted the fourth season of Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu, the Telugu quiz show based on Kaun Banega Crorepati. That programme invited contestants to answer questions for a chance to win money; MEGAVerse is instead being reported as a show featuring conversations with celebrity guests.
The proposed series would place Chiranjeevi in a streaming talk-show space already explored by Telugu film personalities, including Nandamuri Balakrishna with Unstoppable with NBK. Whether MEGAVerse will follow a similar interview format, and which guests will appear, should become clearer if Netflix or the makers formally announce the project.
Chiranjeevi’s Upcoming Film Commitments
Chiranjeevi also has film projects in progress. His action entertainer Kaaka, directed by Bobby Kolli, is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on January 13, 2027. The film’s title glimpse introduced him as K. Satyam, an aquaculture-factory supervisor. Anaswara Rajan and Nivetha Pethuraj are among the reported cast members.
His socio-fantasy film Vishwambhara, directed by Vassishta, does not yet have a confirmed release date. A separate planned collaboration with director Srikanth Odela also has no settled timeline: producer Nani said the project had not progressed as expected and that the team had not yet discussed a revised schedule.
