Allu Aravind And Dil Raju Calm Film Chamber Chaos

The joint Film Chamber meeting of producers, distributors and exhibitors witnessed heated arguments over the percentage system but ended with a temporary solution for Peddi.

The joint meeting of producers, distributors and exhibitors at the Film Chamber turned chaotic before finally ending on a peaceful note. The main discussion was around the percentage system and its implementation. After intense arguments, all sides agreed to form a committee with representatives from the three sectors to study the issue and suggest a solution. It was also decided that the percentage system will begin only after the release of Peddi.

Before the agreement, the meeting reportedly saw heated exchanges, shouting and tense moments between members. Asian Suniel, Exhibitor Sridhar and Producer Naga Vamsi were involved in strong arguments, while Chamber President Suresh Babu was upset with the behaviour. Allu Aravind stepped in at a crucial time and asked exhibitors to cooperate, saying Peddi is an important film for everyone. FDC Chairman Dil Raju also played a key role in convincing exhibitors to accept the committee route.

The committee includes Supriya, Bapineedu, Mythri Ravi, Cherukuri Sudhakar, SKN and Prasanna from the producers’ side. Naga Vamsi and Suniel Narang were reportedly kept out to avoid further conflict. While producers said the issue may be resolved in one to two months, exhibitors reportedly expect a plan within one to two weeks. However, it is now clear that Peddi will be exempted from the new system, and the final terms will be decided by the committee.
