A 22-year-old woman, daughter of a senior Income Tax Department officer, was found dead at her residence in southeast Delhi, triggering a major investigation. Police said the victim was alone at home when the incident occurred, as her parents had stepped out in the morning. Her body was later discovered under suspicious circumstances, prompting immediate action by law enforcement agencies.

Preliminary findings suggest that the victim was strangled, possibly using a mobile phone charging cable. Police and forensic teams examined the crime scene, where signs of a struggle were reported.
