The trailer of Scene, an action-comedy thriller starring Suriya and Nazriya Nazim, introduces a quirky world of police pursuits, humour and suspense. Directed by Aavesham filmmaker Jithu Madhavan, the film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on November 6, 2026, for Diwali.

Suriya’s Curious Role as DSP Premraj: Suriya plays DSP Premraj, whose introduction gives the trailer an energetic start. A conversation about his career takes an unexpected turn when he is asked what he would do if he resigned while at the peak of his profession. His reply—that he would enter politics—adds humour and intrigue, while hinting at the unconventional personality behind the police uniform. The trailer builds curiosity around Premraj’s choices and the unusual situations he faces during the investigation.

Naslen and Nazriya Add to the Mystery: Naslen appears as Eeswaran, a character whose presence raises the stakes as Premraj attempts to track him down. The pursuit brings a series of daring moments and challenges, mixing action with comic exchanges and suspense. Nazriya Nazim also has a distinctive role as a housemaid, adding another unusual character to the film’s world. Anand Raj, Lal and Raj Priyan appear in important supporting roles. Earlier, the title teaser and film glimpses introduced the story’s quirky tone, while the first two songs received a positive response.

Film’s Technical Team and Diwali Release: Cinematographer Vineeth Augustine gives the trailer a striking visual style, while Sushin Shyam’s music heightens its action and emotional moments. Ajmal Sabu is the editor, and Ashwini Kale leads production design. Jyothika and Suriya are producing the film under the 2D Entertainment and Jagaram Studios banners, with Jayasree Damodaran as co-producer. NVR Cinema will release Scene across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres worldwide on November 6, 2026.
