Prime Video has unveiled the trailer of its upcoming Telugu Original series Isakapatnam, a crime drama led by Samuthirakani and Aishwarya Rajesh. Set in a fictional port town, the series explores a violent power struggle shaped by family conflict, political rivalry, gang wars and shifting loyalties. The show is scheduled to stream on Prime Video from July 2 in Telugu, with Tamil and Hindi dubs.

A tense crime drama set in a port town:
Isakapatnam is built around a town where crime, politics and business are deeply connected. The trailer presents a world controlled by Naidu, played by Samuthirakani, a powerful figure whose influence reaches every corner of the town. He is shown as a man who understands power, controls people and stays ahead of his enemies. But his biggest challenge does not come from a rival gang or a political opponent. It comes from within his own family, when his daughter Bharati begins to question and challenge the world he has created.

Father-daughter conflict at the centre:
Aishwarya Rajesh plays Bharati, a strong and independent woman who refuses to be controlled by fear or family pressure. Her character appears to be the emotional force of the series. The trailer suggests that Bharati’s decisions will disturb Naidu’s empire and change the balance of power in Isakapatnam. What begins as a personal conflict between father and daughter soon grows into a larger battle involving ambition, revenge, loyalty and survival. This makes the drama more intense because the fight is not just for control of the town, but also for identity and freedom.

Power, politics and betrayal drive the story:
The series promises a mix of gangster drama, political rivalry and family tension. The fictional port-town backdrop gives the story a raw and dangerous setting, where every character seems to carry a hidden motive. As Naidu tries to protect his empire and Bharati takes matters into her own hands, alliances begin to shift and old relationships come under pressure. The trailer highlights violence, emotional confrontations and high-stakes drama, indicating that Isakapatnam will focus on both action and character conflict.

Strong cast and technical team:
Directed by Garry BH, Isakapatnam is written by Prashant Ragathi, with dialogues by Tajuddin Syed. The seven-episode crime thriller is produced by Rahul Tamada and Saideep Reddy Borra under Tamada Media Productions. Along with Samuthirakani and Aishwarya Rajesh, the series features Sunil, Naresh Agastya, Merin Philip, Sudhakar Komakula, Rajeev Kanakala, Mime Gopi, Rohini, Banerjee, Jwala Koti, Ravi Varma and Raja Chembolu in key roles. The ensemble cast is expected to add depth to the town’s complex network of power, betrayal and ambition.

Streaming from July 2 on Prime Video:
Isakapatnam will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on July 2. The series will be available in Telugu, with dubbed versions in Tamil and Hindi. It will also include subtitles in 15 languages, including English, and will stream across India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide. With its intense trailer, strong lead performances and crime-drama setup, Isakapatnam looks positioned as a gripping Telugu web series that combines family emotions with a deadly battle for power.
