Victory Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram have started a 12-day Ooty schedule for director Anil Ravipudi’s Telugu entertainer January 12 Vidudala. The team will shoot two songs and key story sequences, with Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty playing the female leads. The film is scheduled for January 12, 2027, ahead of Sankranti.

January 12 Vidudala Ooty Shooting Schedule

Filming began in Ooty, Tamil Nadu, on October 12, 2026. Anil Ravipudi shared the update on social media alongside a video of the cast and crew. The picturesque location will provide the backdrop for the two songs and several important scenes.

The new leg of filming follows an earlier schedule in Mysuru, where the team completed a song and other sequences. The Ooty shoot is expected to move the production closer to its planned festive release.

Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram Lead the Cast

The film marks Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram’s first on-screen collaboration, although both have worked with Ravipudi separately. Keerthy Suresh stars opposite Venkatesh, while Krithi Shetty is paired with Kalyan Ram. Ajay Ghosh and Upendra Limaye are also part of the Ooty schedule.

The title announcement suggested a brother-in-law dynamic between the lead characters, pointing to a family entertainer built around humour and relationships.

Two Songs and Major Scenes in Production

The 12-day schedule includes two musical numbers and key dramatic portions. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music, with Sameer Reddy handling cinematography. Details of the songs and scenes remain under wraps.

Sahu Garapati is producing January 12 Vidudala under Shine Screens. Suresh Productions, Smt. Archana and Zee Studios are presenting the film. Venkatesh plays Lt. Colonel Venkat Reddy, an Army officer trained in counter-terrorism and hostage negotiation, as revealed through his first-look poster.

January 12 Vidudala Release Date

The film is planned for a worldwide theatrical release on January 12, 2027, during the Sankranti season. Its title doubles as a release-date announcement, continuing Ravipudi’s association with festive family entertainers.

With the Ooty schedule underway, the team is progressing towards the January release. Further details about the songs and promotional campaign are yet to be announced.
