Ram Charan revealed that when he recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, Modi asked him about Peddi. Charan said he explained that the film is based on the concept of empowering villages. He also shared an inspiring story mentioned by the Prime Minister about how one football player from a remote village created a lasting impact, inspiring most of the village’s youth to take up the sport. Charan said Peddi carries a similar spirit, showing how one young man from a remote region fights for his identity.
