Varun Sandesh and Shweta Basu Prasad’s aha Original Naa Wife Missing has unveiled its teaser, introducing a marriage mystery ahead of its October 22 premiere in Telugu and Tamil.
Naa Wife Missing Sets October 22 Premiere
aha is preparing to bring another original web series to its subscribers with Naa Wife Missing, starring Varun Sandesh and Shweta Basu Prasad in the lead roles. Scheduled to begin streaming on October 22, the series will be available in both Telugu and Tamil. Produced by Shiva Kanthamneni under the Lighthouse Cine Magic banner, it is directed by Swatiprakash Mantripragada. The newly released teaser offers a first look at a story that connects an arranged marriage with an unexplained disappearance.
An Arranged Marriage Takes an Unexpected Turn
The teaser introduces Varun and Shweta’s characters as a couple who enter married life through an arranged marriage. Their relationship initially appears to be progressing smoothly, but a revealing moment from their marriage alliance meeting complicates that impression. During the conversation, Shweta’s character tells Varun’s character that she is not a virgin, leaving him visibly shocked. This disclosure becomes a key point of intrigue, prompting questions about how he responds and what it means for their relationship.
A Missing Wife Complaint Deepens the Mystery
The story takes another turn when Varun’s character approaches the police and files a complaint reporting that his wife is missing. The shift from their marriage to a police complaint establishes the central mystery without explaining the circumstances of her disappearance. By placing these moments together, the teaser invites viewers to question what happened between the couple’s seemingly smooth beginning and her absence. It offers glimpses of the premise while keeping the answers out of reach.
Teaser Leaves Crucial Questions Unanswered
Was Shweta’s character telling the truth during the marriage alliance meeting? What led to her disappearance, and can Varun’s character discover her whereabouts with help from the police? These unanswered questions form the teaser’s main hook. Rather than revealing how the events connect, it builds curiosity around the couple and the mystery surrounding the missing wife. Viewers can follow the story when the aha Original premieres on October 22, with Telugu and Tamil versions available to subscribers.
