Hanuman Ansh has achieved another major box office milestone by surpassing Rs 350 crore in worldwide gross collections. The film reached Rs 352.30 crore globally after earning Rs 4 crore nett in India and around Rs 50 lakh from overseas markets on Monday, September 21. Its India nett collection now stands at Rs 275.88 crore, while the India gross has reached Rs 325.80 crore. Overseas collections have contributed another Rs 26.50 crore to the worldwide total.
Strong Seventh Weekend Boosts Collections
Hanuman Ansh maintained strong momentum during its seventh weekend. On Friday, September 18, the film collected Rs 5 crore from 6,462 shows with 18% occupancy. Collections rose to Rs 9.75 crore on Saturday, September 19, from 7,119 shows with 30% occupancy. On Sunday, September 20, the film earned Rs 13.75 crore from 7,628 shows, with occupancy reaching 40%. The three-day weekend contributed Rs 28.50 crore to the India nett total. On Monday, September 21, collections dropped to Rs 4 crore from 7,629 shows, with overall occupancy at 15%.
Monday Collections Witness Sharp Drop
After the strong weekend, Hanuman Ansh experienced the expected weekday correction. Monday collections dropped to Rs 4 crore from 7,629 shows, representing a sharp decline compared with Sunday. Overall occupancy stood at around 15 per cent, with morning shows recording 9 per cent, afternoon shows at 15.23 per cent and evening shows at 16.38 per cent. Despite the fall, the film has continued to maintain a substantial theatrical presence during its seventh week.
Remarkable Growth During Theatrical Run
The box office journey of Hanuman Ansh has been unusual, with collections gaining significant momentum after a relatively modest start. The film earned Rs 1.08 crore in Week 1, Rs 40 lakh in Week 2 and Rs 10.40 crore in Week 3 before rising dramatically to Rs 61 crore in Week 4, Rs 90.25 crore in Week 5 and Rs 80.25 crore in Week 6. Based on Divine Detour: That Changed My Life, the film follows Lakshmi Narayan’s spiritual journey and transformation into Neem Karoli Baba. It stars Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand, alongside Anil Rastogi, Sugandha Malhotra, Bhagvandas Patel and Neha Paranjpe.
