The makers of Itlu Arjuna launched “Yellow Chunni” at GITAM University in Visakhapatnam, with Thaman and the lead cast sharing their excitement ahead of the film’s October 30 release.
Itlu Arjuna Brings a Fresh Romantic Story
Director Venky Kudumula turns producer with Itlu Arjuna, made under his What Next Entertainments banner. The film introduces Aneesh as its leading man and Mahesh Uppala as director, with Anaswara Rajan playing the female lead. Featuring music by Thaman S, the romantic entertainer is scheduled to reach theatres on October 30. Following its title glimpse and two previously released songs, the team unveiled “Yellow Chunni” at GITAM University in Visakhapatnam, continuing the film’s promotional campaign.
Yellow Chunni Highlights Melody and Chemistry
Composed by Thaman and sung by him alongside Vishal Mishra, “Yellow Chunni” features lyrics by Sreejo. The melody showcases Aneesh and Anaswara’s on-screen chemistry, with Aneesh’s dance movements adding to its appeal. According to the makers, the song has been receiving an encouraging response on social media. Aneesh called it his favourite track in the film, explaining that it celebrates the beauty of a girl’s smile. He thanked the choreographers and Thaman, saying he enjoyed performing every movement.
Thaman Praises the Film’s Emotional Approach
At the launch, Thaman described Itlu Arjuna as a lovely journey and a fresh love story. He recalled that while people usually ask him for music that shakes theatres and speakers, Mahesh wanted music that could break hearts. That emotional approach, he said, drew him to the project. Thaman highlighted the response to “Hi Re,” sung by Anirudh, and mentioned Mohit’s rendition of “Chinni Chinni.” He also revealed that another song would feature a major star, without naming the singer, and praised both lead actors.
Team Promises a Feel-Good Theatre Experience
Aneesh hinted that audiences might not hear Arjuna’s words but would clearly feel his love. Anaswara dedicated “Yellow Chunni” to both girls and boys and encouraged viewers to watch the film in theatres. Mahesh credited Thaman’s music for the positive momentum and said Aneesh and Anaswara had brought the love story to life, promising surprises and a smile at the end. Choreographer Falguni praised their performances in “Chinni Chinni,” saying Aneesh did not seem like a debutant. She thanked Thaman, the director and producers for their support.
