Adarsha Kutumbam, also known as AK, has been postponed once again as the makers continue work on pending portions and post-production. The film, which was first scheduled for October 2 and later shifted to October 9, now has no confirmed release date.
Adarsha Kutumbam Postponed Again
The makers of Adarsha Kutumbam have officially confirmed that the film will not release on October 9 as previously planned. The project was originally scheduled to arrive in theatres on October 2, but its release was pushed by a week. Now, the team has decided to delay it further, with a fresh release date yet to be announced.
The main reason behind the postponement is the incomplete work on the film. According to producer Naga Vamsi, some portions are still pending and the team does not want to rush the final stages just to meet a fixed theatrical date. The film is also expected to include two more songs, which adds to the remaining production and post-production workload.
Makers Want to Avoid Last-Minute Rush
The decision appears to have been taken after considering the problems that can arise when a film is completed too close to its release. In Tollywood, several projects in the past have faced difficulties because final copies were delivered at the last moment, affecting ticket bookings, show schedules and smooth theatrical planning.
Naga Vamsi said the team has been working on Adarsha Kutumbam for nearly a year and does not want the final version to reach theatres only on the day of release. The makers are instead giving themselves more time to complete the film properly and avoid criticism over rushed post-production or unfinished technical work.
No Connection With Jailer 2 Release
The producer also dismissed speculation that Adarsha Kutumbam was postponed to benefit Jailer 2, another film associated with their distribution plans. He clarified that the delay has nothing to do with giving another release an advantage and is purely due to the incomplete work on AK.
This clarification comes amid discussions among moviegoers about changing release strategies and competition at the box office. The team maintains that the film will arrive only when it is fully ready for audiences.
Naga Vamsi Confident About Final Output
Despite the repeated postponements, Naga Vamsi remains confident about the film. He said Venkatesh fans will be able to enjoy the movie proudly whenever it finally reaches theatres, suggesting that the makers are confident about its entertainment value.
For now, fans will have to wait for an official announcement on the new release date. The additional time is expected to help the team complete the remaining portions, songs and post-production work without unnecessary pressure.
