Nihal Kodhaty and Surya Srinivas’ upcoming spy drama ‘Secret Soldier’ has raised expectations with its action-packed trailer. Director Sailesh Kolanu praised the team’s effort and urged audiences to experience the film on the big screen when it releases on September 18.

‘Secret Soldier’ is a unique Telugu spy drama starring Nihal Kodhaty and Surya Srinivas in the lead roles. Directed by Akki Viswanath Reddy and produced under the Moon Light Dreams banner, the film also features Kamal Kamaraju, Raghubabu, Rangasthalam Mahesh, Srinivas Vadlamani and Srikanth Iyengar in important roles. Director Sailesh Kolanu, who attended the event as the chief guest, described the trailer as impressive and said the team’s hard work was clearly visible in every frame. He particularly appreciated Nihal’s intense appearance and recalled Surya Srinivas’ dedication while working on ‘HIT 3’. Sailesh observed that Telugu audiences support films regardless of their budget when they offer strong writing and quality filmmaking. Calling ‘Secret Soldier’ a film meant for the big screen, he congratulated director Akki Viswanath Reddy and requested audiences to support the theatrical release.

Strong Writing, Music and Emotion

Writer-director BVS Ravi called the trailer highly interesting and praised the producer’s passion and financial commitment to the project. He also appreciated Kaala Bhairava’s music and wished the film commercial success. Shanvi highlighted the strong emotions and friendship at the heart of the story while describing Nihal as a talented performer. Kamal Kamaraju said he was surprised by the scale of the script and felt that the success of such films could encourage more emerging producers and directors to attempt ambitious subjects.

Surya Srinivas revealed that the film combines commercial entertainment with a meaningful story. He said his character, Prithvi, undergoes a compelling transformation and helped him understand the true meaning of courage.
