Yash headlines the film in what appears to be an intense dual-shaded role, with the story placing a complicated father-son relationship at its emotional core. The trailer teases Yash as Raya and Ticket, setting up an intriguing “Yash versus Yash” dynamic that adds another layer to the narrative. Large-scale action sequences, dark textured visuals, elaborate production design and stylish character moments position Toxic as a major action spectacle while keeping relationships and emotional conflict central to the story.

Yash Calls Toxic an Indian Film Made for a Global Audience

Speaking at the grand Toxic trailer launch event in Bengaluru, Yash said the project was created with the ambition of taking Indian cinema to a wider global platform. He described Toxic as the collective effort of artists and technicians who worked with passion over an extensive production schedule. According to Yash, the film was shot simultaneously in Kannada and English for nearly 200 days, making it one of his most demanding projects. He also praised director Geetu Mohandas for her commitment and thanked producer Venkat K. Narayana for backing the film without compromising its scale. Yash added that he stepped outside his comfort zone for the role and will be seen in multiple distinct looks.
