Actor Vijay Deverakonda extended warm birthday wishes to director Rahul Sankrityan and expressed confidence in their upcoming pan-India film Ranabaali.

Actor Vijay Deverakonda shared heartfelt birthday wishes for director Rahul Sankrityan, who is currently helming the much-awaited pan-India film Ranabaali. The film is being produced on a grand scale by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner, with T-Series presenting the project.

Set in the backdrop of the 19th century, Ranabaali is said to be based on real historical events that took place between 1854 and 1878 during British rule. With its period setting, strong emotional core and large-scale production values, the film is expected to be one of the major upcoming releases in Indian cinema. The makers have scheduled the film for a grand worldwide release on September 11.

On Rahul Sankrityan’s birthday, Vijay Deverakonda took to social media and recalled their journey together. He mentioned that it has been nine years since they worked on Taxiwaala, and said both of them have grown and evolved with time. Vijay appreciated Rahul’s passion for meaningful storytelling and his dedication to presenting stories beautifully on screen.

Vijay also said that although they have worked on only two films together, they have experienced struggles as well as immense love from audiences. He expressed hope that Ranabaali will bring them another memorable success. The actor added that he is happy to be part of the film and is eagerly waiting for audiences to watch it on the big screen.
