Actor Sonu Sood, who attended as a special guest, praised the team and wished the film success. He said Vikram Sahidev, Tarak Ponnappa and Sandhya Vasishta appeared to have delivered impressive performances and appreciated director Khagesh Thammineeni’s work. Sonu Sood appealed to local audiences to watch the film in theatres and support the team. The raw and rustic entertainer is produced by Kandregula Naidu and Thrinadha Rao Nakkina under Bhavya Sri Movie Makers and Nakkina Narratives, with Kandregula Kumar Raja serving as co-producer.

Speaking at the event, Lagadapati Sridhar said he had already watched Anakapalli and was impressed with the final output. He praised Vikram Sahidev, Tarak Ponnappa and Sandhya Vasishta for their performances and described Khagesh Thammineeni’s direction as a major strength. He also highlighted Davzand’s music and claimed that the film contains an unusual twist that will surprise audiences. According to him, Anakapalli is not designed only for younger viewers but has elements capable of appealing to audiences across different age groups. He also revealed plans for a Tamil release and said a special screening in Anakapalli would be held on August 7, with the wider release strategy depending on the response.

Lead actor Vikram Sahidev thanked Sonu Sood for supporting the movie and credited director Khagesh for putting enormous effort into the project. Vikram said the film was conceived around two years ago and that extensive shooting in the region made him feel personally connected to Anakapalli. He praised Indraja, who plays his mother, as well as Tarak Ponnappa, Sandhya Vasishta and composer Davzand. Sandhya said she was delighted that the pre-release celebration was taking place in the town itself and described the film as a combination of a love story and emotional family drama. Producer Kandregula Naidu became emotional while recalling that he made the film for his late father, who had actively supported the production before his death. He thanked the people of Anakapalli and mentor Dadi Jagan Prabhakar for standing by him throughout the journey.
