I Am Game Gets August 20 Release Date

Dulquer Salmaan’s much-awaited film I Am Game has officially locked its worldwide theatrical release date. The action thriller will hit theatres on August 20, 2026, and post-production works, including dubbing, are currently moving at full speed. Produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese under the banner of Wayfarer Films, the movie is being promoted as one of the biggest films in Dulquer’s career. Directed by Nahas Hidayath, who earlier delivered the blockbuster RDX, the film has already created strong interest among Malayalam cinema audiences.

I Am Game is said to present Dulquer Salmaan in an ultra-stylish and mass-driven role. The film was shot across more than 100 locations in South India, adding scale and richness to its action thriller backdrop. Dulquer had earlier stated that this is the most stylish film of his career, which has further raised expectations among fans. The first-look and second-look posters also received strong response on social media. After the success of Lokah, this project becomes another major production from Wayfarer Films and also marks Dulquer Salmaan’s 40th film, making it even more special.

The film features a powerful ensemble cast including Antony Varghese, Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar, Kathir, Parth Tiwari and Samyuktha Viswanathan in key roles. The screenplay is written by Shahabas Rasheed and Aadarsh Sukumaran, while Jakes Bejoy composes the music. Jimshi Khalid handles cinematography, Chaman Chacko takes care of editing, and Anbariv choreographs the action sequences. The movie will release as a pan-Indian project in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.
